Founded in 1997 as a life and non-life (re)insurance broker in Japan, Cosmos Risk Solutions engages mainly in (re)insurance brokerage and risk consulting. Cosmos Risk Solutions's expertise and capabilities derive from its participation in (re)insurance placement of ITOCHU's trade and global operation. With its constant involvement in various projects worldwide, Cosmos Risk Solutions maintains the most up-to-date information surrounding the insurance landscape.
In 2022, Cosmos Risk Solutions acquired ITOCHU's overseas broking network Cosmos and also FM Insurance, an in-house agent of Family Mart, and more than tripled its operation.
